Transcendia, a leader in custom engineered materials for critical product components in a wide range of markets and applications announces the appointment of Tim Thompson as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer.
Tim is a passionate, high energy, proven business leader that joins the organization with 31 years of operations leadership experience in both high-tech and traditional manufacturing environments for companies such as MW Life Sciences, PCC Structurals, Fastenal and Danaher Corporation. He drives profitable growth by practicing and advocating customer centricity, employing lean manufacturing principles to achieve breakthrough process improvements and by motivating teams to deliver record financial results.
Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is a United States Army Veteran having served in Operation’s Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
