FRANKLIN PARK, Ill., June 3, 2025 – Transcendia Inc., a leader in manufacturing and converting customer engineered films, today announced it will be closing its Franklin Park, IL, production plant and incorporating the assets into its Richmond, IN, location. Its Franklin Park corporate headquarters will relocate to a new building and both moves are scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2025. This decision came after careful consideration of how to strategically structure the Company’s operational footprint to streamline production and best serve its customers.

Affected employees will have an opportunity to interview for positions at other Transcendia locations and the Company is offering job placement assistance, resources, and other support to assist with this transition.
